Cornelly & District Development Trust
Cornelly and District Development Trust (CADDT) is a member led, community based regeneration and community development organisation based in the village of Cornelly.
The aim of CADDT is to be engaged in economic, environmental, social and cultural regeneration, working in partnership with business, the statutory sector and other organisations to achieve a shared goal of a sustainable, prosperous, healthy and skilled community that is fit for the 21st Century.
Cornelly & District Development Trust (CADDT) is a company limited by guarantee that was created by local people in 2005, to respond to the social and economic deprivation within the village of Cornelly and the surrounding areas. Areas whose livelihood had been dependent upon traditional patterns of industrial employment and then suffered the resulting high levels of unemployment as the industries declined.
Facilities on offer are the Horizons coffee shop, community hub, credit union and many other projects, training and services
