Greenstream Flooring CIC

Greenstream Flooring CIC was established in 2008 originally to provide an alternative to sending carpet tiles to landfill. They are a unique social enterprise based in the South Wales Valleys working throughout the UK to divert and supply new and re-used commercial flooring for the benefit of the community.
Greenstream's flooring services include:

National zero-waste recovery collection service for otherwise wasted/skipped commercial carpet tiles.

An Affordable Flooring programme directed as providing free/ low cost carpet to community groups and individuals in need.

Greenstream, since its inception has diverted over, 350,000 m2 of carpet tiles from landfill since 2009, the equivalent of more than 87 football pitches, employing placements and creating in employment in a range of roles from office/ administration to warehouse, up-cycling and flooring fitting. They aim to provide secure and sustainable employment, working closely with team members to develop both their professional and personal skills and knowledge.
Through their Affordable Flooring project, they have donated over 300,000 m2 of otherwise 'wasted' re-usable carpet to local community groups and low-income tenants supporting people to make their houses warmer, better insulated homes and ensuring basic carpet is an achievable option for those otherwise unable to afford it.
Greenstream’s unique circular office re-fit services offer office users the chance to take advantage of Greenstream's unique experience in dealing with new and second-life high quality commercial carpet. They also offer, with other consortia members, the entire office re-fit package including all elements including maximum re-used office furniture.
