Based in Neath Port Talbot, South Wales, Ministry of Furniture is the Business to emerge from Remploy, who were previously the UK’s largest employer of people with disabilities. We’re proud of our heritage, the business having exited UK Government control in 2013 and now being wholly owned by ex-Remploy people.
The company are experts in creating and delivering inspirational, contemporary learning and workplace environments. They manufacture a selection of own core range of Educational Furniture items; they are also authorised partners to prestige contract furniture brands.
Most recently, Ministry of Furniture were successful awardees in the upcycling and remanufacture of workplace furniture for the City and County of Swansea Civic Centre. This ground-breaking project featured a re-engineered and re-manufactured range of desks and storage to support agile working practices, whilst also promoting Swansea’s sustainability agenda. This contract creates a further half dozen jobs for people farthest from the job market in the Swansea / NPT area. To see a YouTube clip here
