Enterprise Development Advisor,

The role : Enterprise Development Advisor
Hours: 30 flexible
Salary: £23,400
Reports to: CEO

Location : Home based & in-person as needed e.g. meetings & events.

Role: Work as part of a team supporting individuals, groups & organisations to explore and develop social enterprises & self-employed businesses delivering economic, social & environmental impact.

Your skills and experience

Support & mentoring: developing business skills & confidence
Equity & Diversity: working with people with wide ranging ability and communities
IT skills : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, online training, social media
Training: Design and delivery

Provide high quality, tailored business support including:

Assessing business ideas
Business & project planning
Product & service development
Financial planning
Research, branding & marketing
Planning for risk

Free networking and information event for Social Firms Members (and interested parties), Wed 5^th July @ 10-11.30am (ZOOM)

We need you!

Here at Social Firms Wales we are taking a look at what the future holds for Social Firms in Wales and how we can best shape our support to you in coming years. We would love you to come along and share your thoughts, needs and ideas so that anyone in Wales with a disability or other disadvantage is given equal opportunity to receive paid employment.

We want to make sure that Social Firms Wales is ‘Fit for Purpose’ and meeting the needs of those we exist to serve-but we also want to make it an interesting and informative event and so we’ll be showcasing the work and approaches of two Welsh Social Firms (Names to be confirmed).

There will also be a chance to network with other Social Firms across the country, so make sure you don’t miss out!

Bydd y gwasanaeth yn darparu mynediad yn rhad ac am ddim at gymorth therapiwtig i weithwyr BBaChau neu'r hunangyflogedig. Bydd cymorth ar gael i bobl sy'n absennol o’r gwaith, neu sydd mewn perygl o fod yn absennol, oherwydd salwch meddyliol neu gorfforol, gan eu helpu i aros yn y gwaith neu i ddychwelyd. Bydd y cynllun hefyd ar gael i gyflogwyr yn y trydydd sector.

New scheme to help staff at small businesses access well-being support
The service will provide free access to therapeutic support for employees of SMEs or the self-employed. Support will be available for people who are absent or at risk of becoming absent from work with mental or physical ill-health, with the aim of helping them to remain in or return to work. The scheme will also be available to third sector employers.
