After a little over eight years of employment with Social Firms Wales, Keith Simmonds, based in North Wales, has decided to sample the environs and rewards of early retirement and will be leaving Social Firms Wales on 31st January.
Being just one person covering the length and breadth of Wales in the early days, Keith was the first additional member of the team and what a difference he made to the way in which we originally covered the workload. Not only did he provide another pair of hands, he gave me and the Board of Directors a much needed sounding board, a trusted guiding light and a great environment in which to level thoughts. As the team grew Keith provided us all with guidance and order, how he managed to achieve the latter, which he has, I could not even begin to articulate, brave man…. he would probably have had easier success trying to herd cats, we can be an unruly bunch!
Going forward on-going work and commitments and new enquiries will be honoured by Geoff Stevenson. Geoff has worked alongside Keith for over 4-years. Geoff has great knowledge, experience and understanding of Social Firms and their unique qualities and his wide ranging business skills will continue to serve the North Wales area well.
