Mae Ability Net wedi creu blog arbennig ar 12 Scam y Nadolig. Mae'n werth cymryd ychydig funudau i'w darllen ac o bosib danfon ymlaen at gydweithwyr a ffrindiau.

Ability Net have put together a great blog on the 12 Scams of Christmas. It is worth taking a couple of minutes to read and perhaps pass onto colleagues and friends.

Mae gan gyflogwyr yr un cyfrifoldebau iechyd a diogelwch ar gyfer y rhai sy'n gweithio gartref ag unrhyw weithiwyr arall.
Mae canllawiau gweithio gartref Awdurdod Gweithredol Iechyd a Diogelwch ar gyfer unrhyw un sy'n cyflogi gweithwyr cartref, gan gynnwys y rhai sy'n rhannu eu hamser rhwng eu gweithle a'u cartref. Mae'r canllawiau wedi'u hailddylunio a'u hehangu i roi mwy o fanylion am gamau syml i reoli iechyd a diogelwch gweithwyr cartref, gan gynnwys y risgiau straen ac iechyd meddwl gwael yn ogystal â gweithio gydag chyfarpar sgrin arddangos.

Ceir cyngor hefyd i weithwyr cartref eu hunain, yn ogystal â fideo ac awgrymiadau ymarferol ar ystum da wrth weithio gyda DSE.

Employers have the same health and safety responsibilities for those working at home as any other worker.
HSE’s home working guidance is for anyone who employs home workers, including those who split their time between their workplace and home. The guidance has been redesigned and expanded to provide more detail on straightforward actions to manage home workers’ health and safety, including the risks of stress and poor mental health as well as working with display screen equipment (DSE).

There is also advice for home workers themselves, as well as a video and practical tips on good posture when working with DSE.

Mae'r Cynllun Kickstart yn cau ar gyfer ceisiadau ar 17 Rhagfyr.
Mae'n darparu cyllid i greu swyddi newydd ar gyfer pobl ifanc 16 i 24 oed ar Gredyd Cynhwysol sydd mewn perygl o ddiweithdra hirdymor.
Gall cyflogwyr o bob maint wneud cais am gyllid sy'n cynnwys:

100% o'r Isafswm Cyflog Cenedlaethol (neu'r Cyflog Byw Cenedlaethol yn dibynnu ar oedran y cyfranogwr) am 25 awr yr wythnos am gyfanswm o 6 mis
cyfraniadau Yswiriant Gwladol cyflogwr cysylltiedig
isafswm cyfraniadau pensiwn cofrestru awtomatig

The Kickstart Scheme is closing for applications on 17 December.
It provides funding to create new jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment.
Employers of all sizes can apply for funding which covers:

100% of the National Minimum Wage (or the National Living Wage depending on the age of the participant) for 25 hours per week for a total of 6 months
associated employer National Insurance contributions
minimum automatic enrolment pension contributions
