Yn haeddiannol iawn, ar ôl y nifer uchaf erioed o enwebiadau, mae busnes newydd o Gaerdydd - ac aelod o Gwmnïau Cymdeithasol Cymru - Qualia Law wedi cyrraedd rownd derfynol Gwobrau StartUp Lansiwyd y gwobrau i gydnabod y sîn ‘start-up’ ffyniannus ledled Y Deyrnas Gyfunol sydd wedi cyflymu eto ers y pandemig.

Mae CBC Qualia Law yn wasanaeth Twrnai a Dirprwy dielw ar gyfer y Llys Gwarchod sy'n diogelu ac yn amddiffyn eiddo a chyllid pobl nad sydd â’r gallu i wneud hynny.

Cardiff based startup, and Social Firms Wales' member, Qualia Law CIC are well deserved finalists at the Welsh Final of the StartUp Awards after a record number of nominations. The awards had been launched to recognise the booming startup scene across the UK which has accelerated since the pandemic.

Qualia Law CIC is a not-for-profit Court of Protection Deputy and Attorney service that safeguards and protects the property and finances of people who lack capacity.

Autistic Haven CIC is looking for a campsite to host a camp for 30 families with Autistic members.
They require a field that is fenced or can be made secure with event fencing, ideally in excess of 1 acre to allow space for free play and a marquee to host activities such as circus skills, crafts, and yoga. Toilet and shower block within or near to camping field, and must have some electric points. Any location would be considered with a preference not being near water and main roads.

ICO - Making data protection and marketing work for your small business - 10am 23 May

Experts from the ICO will share invaluable tips and advice to help you handle people’s information confidently and unlock the value of the personal information you hold. It’s also an opportunity to get involved and ask them questions.

Article on behalf of Louise O'Neill - Children in Wales
As an attendee at one of Children in Wales' child poverty events this year, I would appreciate your help in disseminating and promoting our Annual Child & Family Poverty surveys to your colleagues, networks and, where possible, to children and young people themselves. We are keen to get as many responses as possible in order to understand more about the impacts of poverty.

We have two surveys - one for practitioners and professionals and the other for children and young people themselves. The surveys are open to everyone, not just those with a poverty remit. As you know, the impact of poverty is across all of our work strands and it's important that we gather information from a wide range of roles and experiences. As well as disseminating, please feel free to complete it yourself.
