The Welsh Charity Awards celebrate the positive impact and outstanding contributions made by charities, community organisations, not-for-profits, and volunteers across Wales.
At their recent awards ceremony they celebrated all the amazing finalists and announced this year’s winners.

• Champion of diversity finalist: Redberth Croft CIC is a rural community farm that is led by people with lived experience and places equality, diversity, and inclusion at the centre of its work – empowering people with additional learning needs, mental health challenges, or social disadvantage.

Learning from one another is a great way of boosting our business skills. So how can we do this?

• Attend the upcoming Social Firms Wales networking meeting?
• Contact other Social Firms Wales members to discuss possible links and connections? eg. AGM's
• Look at the training programme, which started yesterday, and book in to boost your business skills and network.
• Link up with your local authority? 
• Attend meetings with your local CVC?
• Identify other social enterprise events and groups - perhaps on social media?

The Community Builders Fund provides loans of between £100k and £1.5m to UK charities and social enterprises based in England, Wales and Scotland. 
The fund is supported by the Government guarantee scheme – Growth Guarantee Scheme.
